About radovian.online
A small, independent site that explains consumer technology in plain language, says openly how it is paid for, and collects nothing from the people who read it.
What we are trying to do
Most writing about home computers and security software is produced to sell something, and it shows: the numbers are invented, the drawbacks are missing, and the built-in tools you already own are never mentioned because mentioning them costs the writer money.
We are funded the same way — by commission — so we are not claiming to be above the problem. What we can do is be straight about it: label every commercial link where you can see it, publish the drawbacks alongside the case for buying, refuse to print a figure we cannot source, and tell you when the free option is good enough. The main article on this site tells readers that Windows and macOS already include malware protection and that a mechanical hard drive is a hardware problem no subscription will solve. Both sentences cost us money. They stay.
Who writes it
Emma Garcia is the responsible editor and director of publication, and writes the articles. Every page carries her byline, a publication date and a review date. Nothing is published anonymously and nothing supplied by an advertiser appears under our name. Editorial complaints reach her directly at info@radovian.online.

How the site is built
These are static HTML files served over HTTPS. There is no content management system, no database, no comment section, no login and no user-generated content — which removes most of the ways a site like this leaks data or gets defaced.
- No cookies, no storage. Nothing is written to your device. See the cookie policy, which tells you how to verify that yourself.
- No third-party requests. Every stylesheet, script, diagram and typeface comes from this domain or from your own computer. Nothing is loaded from Google Fonts or a CDN, so no other company learns that you visited.
- One script, 45 lines. It passes campaign parameters to partner links and keeps the
required
relattributes in place. You can read it: /js/cta.js. - Original diagrams. Every illustration is an SVG drawn for the article it appears in. No stock photography, no product screenshots.
- System typefaces. The site uses the fonts already on your device. That is why it looks slightly different on Windows, macOS and Android — and why it loads instantly.
How it is paid for
Affiliate commission, and nothing else. When a reader follows a link marked partner link and later subscribes, the vendor pays us a commission out of its own margin. You pay the vendor’s normal price. We take no money from readers, sell no data and publish no sponsored articles. The affiliate disclosure shows the money flow in a diagram and answers the obvious follow-up questions.
What we will not publish
No invented testimonials, no invented ratings, no fabricated statistics, no countdown timers or false scarcity, no guaranteed-result claims, no fake virus warnings, and no commercial link that is not labelled in the visible text. These are listed with the reasoning in the editorial policy, and we would rather be held to them in public.
When we get it wrong
We do, and we publish it when we do. The main article carries a table of eleven claims that were removed from an earlier version of the page, with the reason for each. That table is the standard we intend to keep to. If you find something wrong, tell us.
